PROJECT SUMMARY
The Yard House Restaurant at the Promenade in Temecula, California and Story Construction Company required a series of mesh panels to cover the outdoor dining area. Ten triangular shaped fabric membranes, each measuring 15’-0″ x 16’-0″ x 22’-0″, made of Ferrari Soltis 86 with Stainless Steel Turnbuckles and D Shackles were specified to compliment the architectural layout of the center.
Upon review of the original designs Eide Industries identified, and then confirmed using 3D AutoCAD, inherent overlapping issues with neighboring building and steel awnings. Eide quickly redesigned the curvature of the fabric membranes to meet the customer’s requirements and avoid intersecting the shade structure with existing objects.
Eide’s project management and design refinement expertise was able to meet the customer’s expectations for design, fabrication and installation.
